This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out what you must not do on Cirql. It supports our due-diligence obligations as an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Breaching this AUP is a breach of the Agreement.
Prohibited content
You must not host, share, or transmit content that:
- is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, paedophilic, invasive of privacy, insulting or harassing, racially or ethnically objectionable, or that encourages such acts;
- is harmful to a child, or exploits or endangers minors;
- infringes any patent, trademark, copyright, or other intellectual-property or proprietary right;
- is deceptive or misleading, impersonates any person, or misrepresents your affiliation;
- threatens the unity, integrity, defence, security or sovereignty of India, public order, or friendly relations with foreign States, or is contrary to any law;
- contains software viruses or any code designed to disrupt, damage, or limit any system or data.
Prohibited conduct
You must not:
- create fake accounts or artificially inflate followers, engagement, ratings, or reviews;
- circumvent the platform to transact off-platform in order to avoid fees or protections;
- scrape, crawl, harvest, or index the platform or its data without our written permission;
- reverse-engineer, interfere with, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the platform or other users' accounts;
- use the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications;
- use the platform for money laundering, fraud, or any unlawful purpose;
- collect or misuse another user's personal data.
Consequences
We may remove content, restrict features, and suspend or terminate accounts for breach, and may disable access to unlawful content and cooperate with authorities as required by law. We may preserve and disclose information where legally required.

Report violations or unlawful content to our Grievance Officer — see the Grievance Redressal Framework — who will act within the timelines required by law.
